Outcomes of the photo-shoot.
The out comes of all the photo-shoots worked particularly well. The places i had plan these shots worked really well and also the model himself was at ease and enjoyed the whole process whilst still creating high quality images. i managed to take 3 successful images which i bought forward in to the editing process.
One in the BBA music studio, the "recording process" happening . After editing this is going to be used in my double page spread.
One in the JCA photography studio , of the model wearing a shirt of the genre i am aiming at , this also features a direct address to the audience. This image after edited will be used in my contents page.
One in the BBA photography Studio , A close mid shot of the model , using 3 point lighting i managed to focus in on the models expression. After editing this shot will be used as my main cover.

Naming my magazine.
I have decided to name my magazine "Progress" there were many factors behind me naming my magazine this. Firstly, all of the magazines i have researched in the rock genre e.g. "Kerrang!" and "Rocksound" all have have a very simple and easy to remember name. This is what drew me to having a very simple two syllable name. The term progress means something ever changing and improving , which will be a main skyline or strapline on my front cover. It also links to the recording feature which will be featured in my double page spread.

Inspiring Images.
This is the style of shots i will be attempting to create. This will follow on with my plan for the photographs to be in a recording studio setting. These images show the various artists of the band "Billy Talent" recording there new record. These images were featured in "kerrang!" as a " World Exclusive" which again is another point i want to stress during my photoshoot.

Plan For Photographs.
For my images i will be using in my magazine i have several different aspects i have to think about.
Firstly, the people who are being photographed will have to match a certain stereotype by the way they look and act. The kind of style i want them to have is similar to this of "Oli Sykes"who is featured heavily in both "Kerrang!" and"Rocksound". Secondly, i want the setting to be unique and different, my initial idea is to place the shoot in the studio as a " World Exclusive" on the artists recording an up and coming record. This will give the reader an immediate personal connection as it seems they are the only person who will get an insight on this record. Finally, there will be several props involved in this shoot. The band i will be featuring are a two piece acoustic guitar band , so therefore the main props being used will be two acoustic guitars along with a recording studio which will be used as the main setting with various equipment and computers involved in the background.

Genre of my Magazine
I have decided the genre i would be trying to create will be "Rock". I have chose this to be my genre for several reasons. Firstly, i have a high interest in the genre as i collect several magazines from the same genre personally. Also the artist/performer i will be featuring in my magazine is of an rock genre. Therefore i have chose "Rock" to be my genre as i have a high interest in the genre and the artist who will be featured plays rock music.
